I believe that it should be breaking news for all of Chinese people in 2010 that Google.com has withdrawn the market of Chinese mainland. It is said that Google.com was forced by the Chinese government to give up the huge market in China, but I am afraid I could not agree with it. Google.com had gone against the Chinese law to a great extent in its operation, so it should get some punishment for it.
Compared with Google.com, Baidu.com, another tycoon in Chinese internet industry, is much more reliable in Chinese people’s eyes. Baidu.com will always supplier us with sorts of online services under the legislative permission, so we can get to know the outer world on Baidu.com clearly and relievedly.
